Rappel 1910 is a sharp and witty satire in which the authors target Edwardian high society and the strict discipline of institutional religious life. Set in the twilight of the Edwardian era, the book explores two main things: Firstly the suffocating social rules of the British upper class and also the loss of personal freedom inside a strict Catholic convent (the Society of the Sacred Heart).
