Published in the early years of the Great War, this title by Jesuit priest Charles Plater, was written to provide a moral and ethical framework for understanding war and international relations from a Catholic perspective, exploring the concept of a "Just War" and the moral duties of nations toward one another. Contents: Part One—International Morality in General, Part Two—Morality and War, Part Three—Efforts Towards Peace, Part Four—Historical (this last section examines morality and war from the New Testament through to the Middle Ages).

Condition

This copy is in very good condition for age, with just a little dulling to the spine. Previous owner's inoffensive name to the ffep.
