Printing Details
Seventh edition. Hardback, half-leather binding with marbled paper covered boards. 28.5 × 22cm, 105pp + 27 plates.
Printed in double columns, this is architect William Hosking's writings on architecture and building from his entries to the Encyclopaedia Britannia. The title page states there are 26 plates, but in fact there are 27, including some fine ones of St Pauls Cathedral and York.
Condition
Fair. The leather is rubbed with heavy wear to the joints. The main body of text is in good order, the plates tanned and the last six or seven having a noticeable old water stain. Some evidence of minor worming to the rear board only. However, it remains in good readable condition.
