"This is the tale of the Tunisian campaign from start to finish, beginning with the disembarkation of troops on the beach at Arzen. A D Divine (a press correspondent) was in the fore of the fighting through most of the campaign and gives a thrilling description of the battle for Tobruk which he watched from a forward artillery post. He describes the entry into Oran and the scene in the Chateau Neuf at the conference of the capitulation, the charge of the light brigade of coastguard cutters into Oran harbour, and the dramatic story of their end"
Condition
The book is in good condition, with some dusting and tanning to the pages edges. The dustwrapper is a bit scruffy and rubbed to the edges, with a surface scuff to the rear panel but otherwise remains good.
