The author seems to be suggesting that the mental and moral peculiarities of differing races are as fixed as their physical characters...
Condition
A good plus copy but there is a small tear to the base of the spine at the front joint (about 1.5cm) and some scuffing and discoloration to the top of the upper board. There is a neat label to the front pastedown stating this copy comes from the Torquay Natural history Society, but the main body of the book is in very good condition.
