The book contains a complete biography of the artist, followed by an analysis of her character and personality which have had the most influence on her operatic art. There are also studies of her most famous roles, each of which includes a resume of the opera concerned and a critique of the heroine as interpreted by Madame Callas. The book ends with a critical account of her concert performances, and a list of her recordings to date.
Condition
The book is in good plus condition, there is a very slight mustiness but this will go. The dustwrapper is rubbed to the edges and joints but remains in good condition.
