This copy was owned by author and Jungian analyst Irene Claremont de Castillejo, with her pencilled signature to the ffep. Born in 1885, she married Spanish jurist and professor Jose Castillejo but had to flee Madrid at the start of the Spanish Civil War. In 1945, after living in London, she studied Jungian psychology in Zurich working with Carl Gustav Jung, Emma Jung and Toni Wolff, then returning to London to found a psychotherapy practice specialising in the role of women in the world of today. She is perhaps best known for her book 'Knowing Woman: A Feminine Psychology', published posthumously in 1973.

Elizabeth Jennings' fourth collection of poetry, covering a range of themes from family relationships to religious experiences, and from clowns to love, as they examine our deeper spiritual and emotional truths.

Condition

Good condition. There is some fading to the wrapper's spine and tanning to its edges. The book is in strong readable condition, though with a slightly musty odour.
