A rare late Victorian issue of the Royal Horticultural Society's Journal for 1894 and 1895, with two parts being bound into one. The first half of each issue is a collection of articles and presentations, including:

Relations between Gardeners and their Employers by Malcolm Dunn,
Lord Bute's Vineyards by A Pettigrew,
Rare Trees and Shrubs in the Arnold Arboretum by Maurice de Vilmorin.
The second halves of the books are extracts from the proceedings of the Society, including reports from the Temple Show of 1894, the Scientific, Fruit, Floral, Orchid, and Narcissus Meetings, and with occasional illustration.
Condition
The binding is a little dull, occasional marking to the cloth Some age-toning to the pages but the inner binding is secure and the books remains in strong readable condition.
