A volume from the Petite Bibliotheque Charpentier of Victor Hugo's poetic works, containing both his Les Orientales (his long poems of 1829 inspired by the Greek War of Independence), and Les Feuilles D'Automne (Autumn Leaves), his collection of 1831 containing the six poems that form Soleils Couchants.

Condition

An attractive copy. There is some scuffing to the spine and boards, and the pages are tanned throughout but the book remains in strong readable condition.
