Isobel W Hutchison's poetic rendering of the Gaelic legend of Bride who was summoned from the Hebrides to Bethlehem to be the foster-mother of Christ.

The poet was a remarkable woman, writer, Arctic traveller, filmmaker, photographer and botanist. She travelled far and wide, included Knud Rasmussen amongst her friends, and collected many specimens of plants now at Kew Gardens.

Condition

The covers are detached, faded and split into two pieces, and are held in place by a mylar sleeve. The contents which now loosely within the covers are in very good condition, with clean pages and secure binding. The text remains in strong readable condition and this remains quite a rare title.
