Published under the auspices of the French Mycological Society, this book has a lengthy introduction on mushrooms, followed by 79 full page colour plates, with text opposite describing the names, habitat, uses of the mushrooms pictured

Condition

The book is ex-library (Wye College in Kent, a well-known agricultural college that closed in 2009), with an attractive college bookplate to the front pastedown. The book has the usual discard marks to the endpapers, and a small label to the spine. The spine is also a bit faded but the contents, and in particular the plates, are in very good condition.
