Through their eyes—amused, loving, critical, or jealous—we see emerging from the mists of antiquity the shape of London we know". Contains such visitors to London as William the Conqueror, Desiderius Erasmus, Peter the Wild Boy, Karl Marx, Giuseppe Garibaldi, Lenin, Emile Zola etc etc
Condition
A good reading copy. The book is in good condition with some tanning to the pages and bumping to the board's corners. The dustwrapper is tatty, with loss to the edges and fading to the spine but now within a protective sleeve.
