A collection of fifty traditional Scottish nursery rhymes, ballads and songs with their traditional tunes, collected, edited and arranged for voice and piano by Scottish composer and collector of music Alfred Edward Moffat. Indexed by title and first line, this is a wonderful collection including O, Will You Buy My Syboes; Glasgow Peggie; Twa Craws sat on a Stane; and Lingle, lingle, lang, tang.

Condition

The book is in very good condition for age, with just a little spotted foxing to the prelims. The glassine wrap is quite a rare survival and is heavily creased and torn to the edges.
