An examination of the Naval forces operating out of Harwich on the Essex coast. The book is in three sections, the first is the Harwich Force, the light cruisers and destroyers, and their action at Heligoland Bight, convoys and patrols. The second section is the submarine flotilla, their actions, mine-laying, and losses, and the final third part is the Harwich Auxiliary Patrol and Mine-Sweeping Force, including the Royal Naval Trawler Reserve.

Condition

A good copy. The covers are sunned, and the last page of text is foxed but otherwise remaining in strong readable condition.
