Rene Boylesve's introspective and autobiographical story that revisits the narrator’s adolescent emotional life, particularly his attachment to the figure of Mademoiselle Cloque, who originally appeared in his earlier work Mademoiselle Cloque (1899). This edition illustrated by French artist Paul Baudier with 22 original woodcuts. This title was published in the "Le Livre de Demain" series and would have been bound in yellow paper covers, this one has been rebound in red cloth.

Condition

Good condition, it is in strong readable condition, with minor wear to the boards and light age-toning to the pages. Previous owner's name to ffep.
