Myriam Harry's novel set in Ceylon, and presenting a series of scenes and portraits, mainly of women encountered during a journey through the islands of the Indian Ocean. This edition illustrated by French artist Pierre Falke with 24 original woodcuts. This title was published in the "Le Livre de Demain" series and would have been bound in yellow paper covers, this one has been rebound in red cloth.

Condition

Good condition, it is in strong readable condition, with some light wear to the covers and light age-toning to the pages. Previous owner's name to ffep.
