This copy with the ownership signature of Alfred James Jenkinson to the title page. Jenkinson was a translator and senior dean at Brasenose College.
The handbook for students of Oxford University issued yearly. The handbook lists the rules and regulations for attendance, scholarships, exhibitions, discipline, expenses etc, as well as details of the degrees, notes on Rhodes and University scholarships, and the University and public services such as the Officers' Training Corps, the Home and Indian Civil Service, and other colonial posts. A fourth section (and the shortest!) is on the university and women students, and the final section is the university facilities (libraries, collections and so on). The beginning of the book has adverts for bookshops, gown shops, stationers.
Condition
This copy is in good condition for age. Some marking and fading to the boards but the contents in good clean condition.
