Not signed but loosely inserted is a carbon copy of a letter to Jim (the architect J M Richards), the editor of the Architectural Review, concerning a previous letter about Russian architecture sent to the review and comments thereon.
Literature and Art is an anthology of Marx and Engels' writings on aesthetic matters. The text is divided into four sections: 1. Origin and Development of Art, 2. Art in Capitalist Society, 3. Realism in Art, and 4. Literary History.
Condition
The book is in good condition for age, some light tanning to the pages and a little bumping to the edges. The dustwrapper has heavy chipping to the edges and some surface abrasion but has not been price-clipped.
