This copy belonged to Montague Bernard Levine, a colourful and larger-than-life author, doctor and coroner for Inner South London. He was also personal physician to James Callaghan. He has signed his name to the ffep in Blackpool, 1946, and then a further gift inscription from him to a Madam Guest.
A first printing of Geoffrey Keynes' selection of Rupert Brooke's poems, with two illustrations of Brooke.
Condition
A good copy. There is fading to the spine and light bumping to the boards' edges. Some light tanning to the pages but this book remains in strong readable condition.
