An unused witty 1936 calendar. The front cover showing a wit holding court to five Bright Young Things... The calendar is arranged as a week per page, with a motto above, for example: "Some pianists play from note, some from ear, and some from spite", or "The average man is proof enough that a woman can take a joke".
Condition
Good condition for age. There is wear and a little staining to the cover's edges, foxing to the inside of the covers but the pages are clean and unused. The calendar comes in its original box which is in fairly bad condition. A nice period piece.
