Here are seven books by / about the essayist, parodist and caricaturist Max Beerbohm. See below for details.

1. More Theatres 1898–1903 by Max Beerbohm, (Rupert Hart-Davis, London, 1969). First edition, hardback in dustwrapper. Essays on the theatre. A good copy, with some light chipping to the wrapper's edges and a little spotted foxing to the page edges.

2. Last Theatres 1904–1910 by Max Beerbohm, (Rupert Hart-Davies, London, 1970). First edition, hardback in dustwrapper. His final collection of essays on the theatre. Light wear but else a very good copy.

3. Letters to Reggie Turner by Max Beerbohm, (Rupert Hart-Davies, London, 1964). First edition, hardback in dustwrapper. Beerbohm's letters to author, aesthete and friend of Oscar Wilde, Reginald Turner. The book is in good solid condition, with some spotted foxing to the page edges. The dustwrapper is good but with some marking to the rear panel.

4. Max & Will, Max Beerbohm and William Rothenstein, their friendship and letters, 1893–1945, edited by Mary M Lago & Karl Beckson. (John Murray, London, 1975). First edition, hardback in dustwrapper. The book is very good, the dustwrapper is a bit creased to the front panel.

5. Lytton Strachey by Max Beerbohm, (Cambridge University Press, 1943). First edition, slim paperback. MB's Rede lecture. Good condition, light spotted foxing.

6. The Poet's Corner by Max Beerbohm (Penguin, 1943). First edition, small hardback. A King Penguin book, an introduction by John Rothenstein is followed by MB's caricatures.

7. Caricatures by Max (OUP, 1963). Reprint. slim pamphlet. Illustrated in black and white, MB's work from the collection in the Ashmolean.

Condition

All books are in strong readable condition but with some minor or light wear.
