The poetry of Imadeddin Nesimi, a Hurufi poet of the 14th and 15th centuries. His poetry was written in his native Azerbaijani, as well as Persian and Arabic languages and is regarded as one of the greatest Turkic poets of his time and a prominent figures in Azerbaijani literature.

Also included is a first edition of the translator's first books of poetry published by Lawrence & Wishart in 1957.
