Chuang Tzu’s philosophy represents the main current of Taoist teachings, and his text is widely regarded as both deeply insightful and a great achievement in the Chinese poetical essay form. This version was translated in the 1930s by Feng Yu-lan, the Chinese philosopher, who puts more emphasis on Chuang Tzu’s philosophy than do previous attempts.
Condition
A good copy. There is fading to the wrapper's spine, some spotted foxing to the page edges and a previous owner had left a flower pressed at the title page which has lead to some offsetting (though quite a pleasing effect).
