The author, a noted specialist in elocution, draws directly on the techniques used by the leaders of the Suffragette movement to teach the next generation of women how to master the 'psychology of the crowd.' A pocket book guide to public speaking (electioneering, debates, psychology of the crowd etc), and of particular interest is that this book includes advice for women with reference to Suffragettes (Mrs Henry Fawcett, Christabel Pankhurst) as well as Maude Royden and Lady Bonham-Carter.
