A good example of mid-Victorian publishing from Lambert’s 'Amusing Library.' These two stories by the 'Flemish Walter Scott' were among the first pieces of Belgian literature to reach an English audience.
Two works in one volume from this important Belgian author. The Miser was first published as De Gierigaerd in 1852, and Ricketicketack (first published as Rikke-tikke-tak as a serial 1845; and as a book, 1851).
