This book was produced to accompany an exhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute in London displaying photographs from the archive of Erio Piccagliani. He was a photographer between 1949 and 1979, and captured many leading figures who performed at the Teatro Alla Scala, including Maria Callas, Karajan, Tebaldi, Di Stefano, Pavarotti etc.

Also included is an Italian language large booklet on Maria Callas at La Scala (title: Grandi Voce alla Scala: Callas).

Condition

This book is in very good condition, with a little light wear to the edges.
