A collection of 'bisoro' tales, or traditional African folktales about animals from northwest Uganda which are only told at night. Examples being The Race Between the Dog and the Tortoise; The Great Drought; The Lion, Mr Hyena and Mr Hare; Mr Short Snake and Mr Long Snake; and Why the Hyena Laughs Like a Human Being. The book is illustrated with black and white drawings.
Condition
The yellow cloth is dulled and marked, with tanning and blotchiness to the spine. The book has a slight forward lean. The contents are in much better condition, with clean pages and secure binding.
