Set in Sussex and Spain during the Napoleonic Wars, the novel recounts the divergent tales of the eponymous heroine and her brother in their efforts to save the noble Lorraine family from ruin.
Condition
A fair reading copy. The leather binding remains attractive but the front and rear endpapers and title page are heavily foxed, although the main body of text is in good clean condition for age.
