Condition
This copy is in good condition for age. The leather is bumped to the corners and there is some scuffing to the raised bands and head of the spine, The inner binding is secure but weakening at the front hinge (though still safe). The main body of text is in good order, the pages clean if a little age-toned. The index to the rear has what appears to be some casting notes and dated 1891, these are in pencil and have offset slightly to the opposing page. However, this remains a very nice copy.
