First published in 1928, this is the fourth Chalet School story. Grizel Cochrane, one of the 'originals' of the Chalet School, is the central character of this story. Grizel's 'headship' is marked by quite a series of adventures and misadventures. First the Robin and then Cornelia is lost in a mountain cave, and the story of their rescues contains much that is surprising.
Condition
A good reading copy. The red cloth is a little rubbed and bumped, with fading and a lean to the spine. Pages and page edges lightly foxed throughout but remaining in strong readable condition.
