First published by Faber in 1947, this post-war cook book by Nell Heaton has details of meal planning, food values, equipment and principles of cookery etc before giving recipes for game, poultry, meat, dairy, fish, vegetables, soups, sauces etc etc
Condition
An attractive copy. The leather has some slight dulling where the sheen has worn off—this is to the spine and board edges. The inner binding is secure, the pages clean but tanned.
