Baedeker's Southern Italy (1912) & Northern Italy (1913)
Both with copious maps and plans
Please see below. Both in the original limp red cloth binding with gilt titling. 16 × 10.5cm.
1. Southern Italy & Sicily, with Excursions to Sardinia, Malta & Corfu. 1912, sixteenth edition, illustrated with 30 maps and 34 plans. Good condition, there's a 3 cm tear to the frontispiece map where bound in and light rubbing to the red cloth. The contents in good order but with a few spots of foxing.
2. Northern Italy including Leghorn, Florence, Ravenna, and Routes Through France, Switzerland and Austria. 1913. Fourteenth edition, remodelled, illustrated with 36 maps and 45 plans (unfortunately the panorama is missing). Good condition, similar to the above book.
Both books are in good readable condition but with some wear to the covers and a little spotted foxing. As mentioned, Northern Italy is lacking the panorama.
