This is a photographic record of the German Baedeker raid on Exeter on May 4th, 1942, compiled form press photos by the editor of the Express & Echo. On the night of 3/4 May 1942 20 German bombers arrived over Exeter town centre, and in just over an hour devastated the town centre and Newtown area.
This copy is in very good condition, with just light wear to the boards.
