The Recording in Stereo of Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen
First edition, first printing. Hardback in dustwrapper. 22 × 14cm, 284pp
An illustrated account of the first recording of Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen, Vienna, 1958–65. The author was a pioneering English classical record producer for Decca Records, with this recording of Wagner being his best known.
A good copy. The book has a previous owner's inscription to the ffep but is in good strong readable condition. The dustwrapper has light wear to the edges and has been price-clipped. There is a little lifting to the laminate at the front joint but this is now within a protective sleeve.
Please note: Due to the recent price rise for final mile delivery from USPS, our postage rates to the US have had to rise. We apologise for this but have no choice.
