A biographical study of Satyajit Ray, India's first filmaker to gain international recognition as a master of the medium, and who continues to be regarded as one of the world's finest director of all time. In 1956, he was catapulted into the forefront of young directors worldwide when in 1956, the Cannes festival honoured him with his film as the best human document of the year. He died in 1992.
This copy is in good condition, with a little foxing to the page edges and top edge but otherwise clean and in strong readable condition.
