A series of thirteen essays on homeopathy (What is Homeopathy?, The Controversy of Homeopathy, The Provings of Homeopathy etc etc). The author was an English surgeon and physician. He was the first science teacher in a British public school and an early advocate of homoepathy. Small bookseller's ticket to the front pastedown for James Epps, Homeopathic chemist.
This is a good reading copy. The joints are frayed, the hinges worn and the boards rubbed quite heavily. However, the contents are in good order and the books remains in strong readable condition.
