A collection of sixty-nine poems from T Sturge Moore, the English poet, artist and close friend of W B Yeats. Of the poems in this volume, 21 had never been printed before, and 18 were published in The Vinedresser (1899), 14 in The Little School (1905) one in Art and Life (1910); and thirteen others have appeared in The English Review, The Atlantic Monthly, The Independent Review, The Saturday Review, The Speaker, The Nation, The New Statesman, The Poetry Review and Poesia. The binding shows a mother and child to the upper board and is initialled in gilt by TSM lower left.
A fair copy. The boards are slightly splayed, with tanning to the spine and along the top edge, and a few white marks to the spine. Previous owner's name plate to the front pastedown. The contents in good clean condition with secure binding.
