A novel of the life in a small village on the East Prussian border from the beginning of the 1900s to the end of the Great War. The author (d.1950) was an outspoken critic of Nazism and was imprisoned in Buchenwald for several months.
The book is in very good condition but with a little corner creasing. The dustwrapper is complete but with some light edgewear and fading to the spine but is now within a protective sleeve.
