An Edwardian food book in which the author stresses the importance of sensible diet and looks at various "fads", chapters include "The Influence of the Mind on Digestion", "Diet and Obesity", "Vegetarianism" and Fletcherism (the practice of eating only small amounts when hungry and chewing well...).
A good copy. The boards are a bit rubbed and bumped, and the inner binding is a little weak in places but otherwise a perfectly readable copy.
